DJ Hatfield is Associate Professor in the Graduate Institute of
Musicology at National Taiwan University. His research interests
focus on Indigenous media, multispecies ethnography, and the ethics
of locality.
Dominika Gruntkowska
Dominika Gruntkowska (ORCID: 0000-0002-2904-5187) is an
assistant professor at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology at the
Pomeranian University in Słupsk. She conducts interdisciplinary
research in the field of pedagogy and philology, deals with culture,
discourse, and childhood.
Ed Katrak Spencer
Ed Katrak Spencer is Assistant Professor of Screen & Music Cultures at
Utrecht University (NL). His research engages with popular music and
the moving image; online (sub)cultures and conspiracy theories; and
political division in the age of social media. His work on the
weaponization of dubstep in internet trolling strategies was recently
published in Twentieth-Century Music. Together with Joana Freitas,
Steven Gamble, Maria Perevedentseva, and Jenessa Williams, he is
co-founder of the Music and Online Cultures Research Network
(MOCReN).
Elliot Bates
Eliot Bates is Associate Professor of Ethnomusicology at the CUNY
Graduate Center. They have contributed, as performer, composer,
and/or recordist/engineer, to more than 90 albums produced in the
US, UK, Turkey and Italy, as well as several TV series and feature
films.
