Lara May
Lara May is currently enrolled in the master’s program Media and
Music at the Department of Journalism and Communication Research
at Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. Prior to this, she
studied the interdisciplinary bachelor’s degree with the major subject
Music and the minor subject English at Hanover University of Music,
Drama and Media and Leibniz University Hanover. Her areas of
interest include popular music studies, media analysis, and gender
studies.
Lisa Sailer
Lisa Sailer directs all of the ensembles in the Daily Orchestra Program
at Community MusicWorks (Providence, Rhode Island), where she is
affectionately known by students and colleagues as "Ms. Cat-Lisa"
(to distinguish her from her co-teacher, "Ms. Dog Lisa"). As an
Alexander Technique teacher and Paul Rolland-certified string
teacher, Lisa incorporates body awareness and freedom of movement
into her string teaching, and serves on the American String Teachers
Association’s Wellness Committee. When not playing or teaching
music, she can be found training her cats to perform elaborate tricks
such as using an inhaler, playing the organ, and dancing the hokey
pokey.
